VPS - Getting Started with VPS for cPanel

After successfully ordering your new cPanel VPS Hosting plan, you can expect your VPS to be provisioned by the end of the following business day. Once the provisioning process is complete, you will receive an email with your account login information and the URL where you can access WHM (Web Host Manager) and cPanel.

Your cPanel VPS Welcome email will include the following:
Webhost Manager (WHM) URL. Example: http://123.123.123.123:2086
Username. Example: root
Password. p@ssw0rd!
Server IP Address. Example: 123.123.123.123
Server Port. Example 2086

cPanel is your virtual server management software that allows you to manage hosting accounts, services, and resources for your VPS.

Here are the first steps to configure your new cPanel VPS.

  1. Login to cPanel at the URL provided in the Welcome email.
    Example: 123.123.123.123:8080

    IMPORTANT: After logging into cPanel you will need to change your password.
  1. The first time you log in, a window will appear in the upper left corner that says Welcome to Web Host Manager!
